Etikoppaka is a heritage craft village in Andhra Pradesh, India, famous for its lacquer-turned wooden toys and idols made from soft Ankudu wood and polished with natural dyes. Kondapalli is another historic craft cluster near Vijayawada, known for its Tella Poniki wood sculptures, representing scenes from Indian village life, gods, and festivals. Both crafts are GI-tagged (Geographical Indication) and recognised globally for preserving India’s handmade legacy.

Yes! Every item is handcrafted by traditional artisan families, many of whom are rural women artisans supported through sustainable livelihoods. Royal Heritage Hub directly works with or represents these creators — we are genuine artisan manufacturers, not resellers.
🎁 4. Do the colours and finishes differ slightly from photos?
Yes — since all our pieces are handmade, small colour, texture, or size variations may occur. These are not defects but natural characteristics of the handmade process that make every product unique and authentic.

For UK orders: Standard delivery: 2–4 working days after dispatch Express delivery: Next working day if ordered before 12 noon (Mon–Thu) All parcels are shipped with tracking, and you’ll receive an update once your order is on its way.
🔁 6. What is your return policy?
We offer a 7-day no-questions-asked return policy, as long as the item is unused and returned in its original condition. To report damage, please share a video of the parcel opening and the damage clearly visible. Because our items are handmade, small cracks or wood grains are not considered damage. Return postage costs are covered by the buyer.

Yes! Our Etikoppaka lacquer colours are derived from natural plant-based dyes like bark, seeds, and leaves. Sometimes, we use a small amount of artificial colour along with natural dyes to enhance shine and finishing — still completely non-toxic and safe for decorative use.

Absolutely! We accept custom and bulk orders for weddings, corporate gifts, Golu festivals, and return gifts. You can WhatsApp or email us your requirements, and our team will assist you with design, packaging, and delivery options.

Keep away from direct sunlight and water. Wipe gently with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning sprays or liquids. Handle gently — each piece is handmade and delicate. Following these tips will keep your wooden idols and dolls shining beautifully for years.

Our artisans come from families who have practised these crafts for generations. Many are national and state award winners recognised by the Government of India for preserving traditional craftsmanship. For example, our Etikoppaka collections are crafted under the guidance of Chinnayyachari, a National Awardee presented by former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 2005. We also work closely with rural women’s cooperatives who create these pieces with passion, dedication, and cultural pride.

Our products are not identical — slight colour variations, surface marks, or wood grains reflect their handcrafted nature, not manufacturing defects.

We are a UK-based. All items are shipped locally from our UK warehouse or dispatch partners, ensuring quicker delivery, safe packaging, and reliable customer support. We also collaborate with Indian artisan clusters and EPCH-certified members for sourcing and quality verification.

Yes, all our Etikoppaka and Kondapalli idols are made from natural, eco-friendly materials and coloured with non-toxic dyes derived from natural sources such as seeds, bark, and leaves. However, as these are handcrafted art collectibles, artisans sometimes use a combination of natural and standard (commercial) colours to enhance the idol’s shine and finishing. While still safe for decorative use, we recommend supervised handling and note that they are not suitable for children under 5 years due to their delicate parts and painted surfaces.
